Having recently competed the one-year program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as an internship at Hebrew Union College Jerusalem Campus, I’m excited to be exploring my opportunities in Jewish Education at CAJE. One of those opportunities involves forging ties with educators involved and knowledgeable about birthright and Israel trip organizations to develop a scuba-diving related Israel Ed. program.

I am currently working as a Youth and Program Director at a conservative synagogue in Toronto, Canada. My interests include creating, marketing, promoting and evaluating educational and social Jewish events and programs for learners from young children to adults. In my spare time, I am the programming chair for Limmud Canada 2007.

About the Schusterman College Program (SCP)

The Schusterman College Program (SCP) brings together college students who are interested in making Jewish teaching a permanent part of their lives. Participants learn with and from each other, as well as with some of the CAJE community’s best teachers. They also have the opportunity to explore post-graduate Jewish communal employment and education options. For more information about SCP, please see the CAJE 32 Program Book.

SCP is generously supported by The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
